Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade 

WHEN: March 11, 2023; 9:30 a.m.

WHERE: Downtown Denver

Since 1962, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Denver has drawn in spectators seeking the Irish spirit. It is normally held the Saturday on the weekend before St. Patrick’s Day, and this year’s parade is expected to draw half a million people. The parade will feature floats, dancing, live bands, charities, and even local celebrities, and the route goes through plenty of bars and restaurants. Be sure to get a good spot in advance; we recommend arriving around 6:00 AM to find a prime spot. The parade starts on Wynkoop at 19th Street, turns down 17th Street in front of Denver Union Station, and then turns northeast down Blake Street, proceeding all the way up to 27th Street.

St. Patrick’s Day Block Party and Pub Crawl

WHEN: March 11, 17 and 18

WHERE: The Ginn Mill – 2041 Larimer St 

Join after the Denver St Patrick’s Day parade on Saturday (March 11th), or Friday (March 17th) and Saturday (March 18th) for the BIGGEST St. Patrick’s Day celebration in Denver! Gobs O’Phun Musical Performance

Looking for some musical merriment this St. Patrick’s Day? Enjoy the musical styling of Gobs O’Phun, a traditional Irish and Scottish acoustic folk band. Their shows are more than music, often offering comedy, storytelling, and friendly banter with the audience. Every show is different, so you’ll never know what to expect. The Quinlan Cafe, where Gobs O’Phun will be performing, also has a full bar, coffee station, and snacks to enjoy during the show. 

Runnin’ of the Green Run and Irish Festival

WHEN: Sunday, March 12 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM

WHERE: 1700 E Louisiana Avenue Denver, CO 80210

Those looking for a fun and family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day celebration in Denver should visit the Runnin’ of the Green in Washington Park. You can choose from a 7k run or a two-mile walk, making it accessible for most fitness levels. Proceeds from the 5k go towards the Fetal Health Foundation. And after your walk or run, enjoy the festivities at the Irish Festival! There will be live music, Irish dancers, bagpipe performers, a beer garden, photo opportunities, and more. The Runnin’ of the Green has been a tradition in Denver for 35 years, and offers something for everyone.
